Leading Through Complexity
For technical leaders navigating ambiguity, distributed authority, competing priorities and high stakes decisions.
Interactive sessions grounded in a background in education and years of developing engineers and technical teams at NASA, designed to strengthen leadership, collaboration, decision making and execution.
These are starting points, not a fixed menu. Sessions can be tailored for technical teams, project organizations, emerging leaders, professional communities and executive groups.
For technical leaders navigating ambiguity, distributed authority, competing priorities and high stakes decisions.
Strengthening trust, accountability, communication, role clarity and collaboration across engineering and multidisciplinary technical teams.
Helping engineers and technical professionals build influence, confidence, decision making skills and a systems level perspective.
Using systems concepts to make team interfaces, organizational friction and communication failures visible.
An interactive session where teams identify common cognitive traps and build stronger decision habits.
Structured techniques for reframing problems, generating new options and challenging assumptions without losing rigor.
Applying Agile principles in complex engineering environments while preserving systems discipline, mission assurance and technical integrity.
Connecting priorities, stakeholders, risk, resources and team execution so complex work can actually move.
Facilitated working sessions for technical teams that need to clarify priorities, break down silos, resolve friction, make decisions or get a room full of different stakeholders moving toward a shared outcome.
Helping multidisciplinary teams connect technical domains, organizational priorities and stakeholder perspectives into a coherent way forward.
Helping early career professionals develop professional presence, collaboration skills, strategic thinking and leadership capacity.
My facilitation work draws on years of helping engineers and technical professionals strengthen the human skills that complex work depends on: communication, trust, accountability, collaboration, leadership and shared ownership. Earlier experience teaching STEM to youth and tutoring college mathematics also shaped how I break complex concepts into ideas people can understand, remember and use.
Teaching has been part of my story from the beginning. I have designed STEM lessons for youth, tutored college students in mathematics and continue to support K–12, girls in STEM, mentoring and aerospace career programs through talks, hands-on activities and community engagement.
